Job Description:
The primary function is to introduce and develop Production / Design improvements for microwave ovens.
Key Responsibilities :
Involvement in the implementation and development of efficient working practices in production.
Carrying out re-design and engineering modications using 3D CAD SW. Day to day liaison with external 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers and other internal departments.
Skills & Experience :
Graduate within a mechanical/production engineering discipline or similar.
Must be a team player and have a flexible attitude.
Experience of design for the manufacturing of electro-mechanical components.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience of working within a Production to Design environment.
Experience of testing / evaluation of products and components, interpretation of test results.
Report writing and engineering change processes experience.
Basic computer skills MS Office, Excel, Word, Power point Microsoft project etc.
Knowledge of 3D CAD packages, ideally CATIA V5.
The role will require manual handling of heavy and bulky items.
A self starter attitude will be required.
