candidate will provide administrative and customer services support to the financial services department generally. Duties will include :- • Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties in a professional and timely manner • Manage client administration, including documentation, accounting and correspondence • Liaising with insurers and third parties regarding the administration of client business • Provide administrative support to the department’s fee earners and paraplanner • Maintaining reports and management information for the department
The Financial Services Administrator will play a central role in the daily business activity and administration of the department, and proven experience in a similar environment is essential.
The successful candidate should possess high level interpersonal skills and have the ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships. Excellent communication skills are essential for this post and the successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with people with various levels of knowledge face to face, over the telephone and in writing. He or she will have good planning, organisational and time management skills and also have the ability to problem solve.
The successful candidate should have excellent word processing skills and an interest in developing new IT skills and knowledge. A working knowledge of 1st Software, Trigold, The Exchange and Microsoft Office would put candidates at an advantage. Financial qualifications (FPC / CeMap etc) would also be desirable.
