Maternal or Parental Leave

The new maternity rules, government legislation and reforms are welcome news for working families but can leave some companies with a personal headache.

Legal requirements mean that the staff member still remains employed by this company whilst on maternal or parental leave and upon returning to work are guaranteed to return to the same job. Employers can consequently end up paying two people to do one job while the staff members is on leave.

In response to the overhaul of these rules by the government, RSW has launched a new service, which relieves the financial burden that maternity and parental leave can place on your business.

Together we will overcome the financial burden of employing temporary cover, with a Maternity package offering a one-off introduction payment rather than on-going agency fees. Therefore if you decide to keep the temporary person on long-term, or on a permanent contract, you do not pay additional charges.
