Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing, and testing electronic systems and components utilised across various projects. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

· Design, develop, and evaluate components and assemblies for new models from concept to mass production, ensuring they comply with the customer requirements, and liaising with other areas of R&D to ensure this is fulfilled.

· Apply technical knowledge to investigate, identify, and implement countermeasures and improvements to resolve issues and coordinate development issues; including evaluation failures and changes in requirements.

· Ensure development builds are according to agreed schedules. Supporting with components and assembly house queries.

· Support the Project and Team Leader to ensure relevant project based AQ and R&D documents (NCL, schedule table, BOMs, etc.) are completed in line with the required processes.

· Work with other teams to deliver the product(s) into production; liaise with other teams/customers/suppliers to work towards a common goal, providing technical support and communication of activities.

· Provide evidence that the relevant customer and general product safety directives are considered where appropriate.

· Consider historic problems and endeavour to eradicate them from future designs.

· Support the Project Leader to ensure cost requirements for electrical/electronic aspects of developments are available when required, including samples costs, mass production parts, and tooling cost.

· Support the Project Leader to create and maintain project plans/schedules for electrical/electronic aspects of developments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering plus 3 years of relevant industry experience, or at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.

· Experience of working to demanding schedules, quality, and cost targets.

· Experience of Electrical and EMC testing in a design environment and of fault finding to component level.

· Experience of PCB design tools (Zuken CF5000 preferably) and Circuit simulation tools.

· Experience of working in a gated development environment.

Desirable Requirements

· Experience in Analogue/Digital Design.

· Design for Manufacturing – Experience in designing electronics circuits and taking the design from concept to mass production.

· Dealing with sub-contractor assembly houses.

· Design for EMC/ESD and noisy environments.

· Knowledge of project management processes.

· Experience of soldering and de-soldering (including surface mount components).

· Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic circuit theory.

· Hands-on experience of using electrical and electronic test equipment and tools.

· Must be an effective team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills.

· Self-starting with good initiative and able to demonstrate a methodical approach to tasks, with a view to developing own ideas and solutions.

· High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to efficiently resolve technical issues.

Main Purpose of Role

To Coordinate Technical Manpower on a daily basis, through supporting the Engineering manager to ensure that all machinery is available 100% of the time.

All Machinery is well maintained and performs to its optimum whenever the production plan requires.

Technical Staff directed to meet Daily Production and engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

Assess and repair mechanical or electrical machine failures.

Accurately and in a timely manner document engineering processes, parts used and discarded, repairs done, and the causes of each failure.

Log all repair time.

Keep engineering tools, such as manuals, safety protocols, parts, and work tools, up to date and available to staff.

Monitor and ensure all machinery performs to its optimum.

Preventative and Reactive maintenance.

Working within the engineering team to identify, develop and implement improvements.

General product quality analysis, investigation, and feedback.

Process evaluation and improvements, tracking and monitoring changes.

Provide support with new assets / machinery.

To work under the direct command, management C tutorage of the senior Quality Engineer. Working to ensure the quality assurance of manufactured product within Axiom manufacturing services, utilising process control and continuous improvement through best practise tools and techniques, using IPC Standards as a guideline to electronic manufacturing assembly.
To support key functions of the Quality department (FAIR’s, CAPA’s, FMEA’s, Control plans etc.)

Customer corrective actions to be closed within 7 working days of concern
Generation and distribution of FAIR’s to AS9102 standard based on customer requirements
Generation of process FMEA’s and control plans across all manufacturing processes and product specific FMEA / Control Plan’s when requested by the customer.
Control of the material quarantine store (Monthly reconciliation)
Compliance with ESD Standard BS EN 61340

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating our Bystronic and Amada press brake machines to produce high-quality component parts. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that production commitments are met and adhering to production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering processes, with the ability to operate press brake machinery effectively. Duties

· Operate and set up press brake machines (Bystronic and Amada) for bending and shaping sheet metal components.

· Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the correct tooling and settings.

· Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

· Perform general metalworking duties as needed, including rolling and forming

Skills

Our Client’s Finance team are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive AP Finance Administrator to support our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Employee Expenses functions. This role is critical to maintaining financial accuracy, supporting cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit standards. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely processing and resolution of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

Process supplier invoices accurately and match with PO and delivery confirmations

Maintain the AP ledger and reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis

Resolve any invoice queries with internal departments and suppliers

Prepare payment runs and ensure timely settlement of liabilities

Ad hoc payment runs as required

Support month-end accruals and audit documentation

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Generate and issue customer invoices in line with agreed terms

Monitor aged debtors and follow up on outstanding payments

Maintain accurate customer records and credit control notes

Key Responsibilities

Install, fabricate, and apply insulation materials (thermal, acoustic, or fire-resistant) to pipework, vessels, and equipment.
Measure and cut insulation materials to specification using drawings, isometric sketches, and site plans.
Apply protective finishes such as aluminum cladding, steel sheeting, or other coverings as required.
Remove and replace insulation during maintenance or repair operations, ensuring containment of any hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos if applicable).
Comply with all nuclear safety, radiation protection, and site-specific permit to work (PTW) systems.
Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Work collaboratively with other trades (pipefitters, welders, scaffolders, etc.) to ensure efficient workflow.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and regular training sessions.
Report any safety incidents, near misses, or non-conformances promptly.
Ensure full compliance with company QA/QC standards and nuclear site documentation requirements.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as a Lagger / Thermal Insulation Engineer in industrial, power generation, or nuclear environments.
Valid CSCS Card (or equivalent).
Knowledge of nuclear site procedures and safety protocols (e.g., PPF training, radiation safety awareness, confined space, working at height).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Competent in the use of insulation tools and materials (e.g., mineral wool, calcium silicate, foam glass, PIR, aluminum/stainless steel cladding).
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Thermal Insulation.
Previous experience working on a nuclear licensed site.
CCNSG Safety Passport / Site-specific induction (e.g., Hinkley Point C HPC Badge).
Asbestos awareness or removal training.
Radiation Worker (Category B) certification.

Working Conditions

Work may involve confined spaces, elevated platforms, and controlled areas under radiation protection supervision.
Use of full PPE, including respiratory protection and dosimetry, as required.
