| Specification: | Recruitment Advisor/ Consultant – Technical Cwmbran – Salary Negotiable plus OTE Main Objectives of the Role In conjunction with the Strategic & Technical Resourcing team you will be an integral part of delivering Recruitment and HR solutions to our clients that will in turn maximise the profitability of the division. Our primary aim is the growth of the business and development of the reputation of the company through professional dealings with both clients and candidates in our chosen markets and become a supplier of choice to potential and existing clients. Although part of a supportive team and company environment you will none the less have accountability and reward based on your input to the business in a target focussed role. Core Activities. • To assist with the sourcing and placement of candidates within the Strategic & Technical division. Through: 1. Technical analysis of job specifications fully understanding the key elements of the role. 2. Detailed understanding of the person specification in order to assess competencies and core experience. 3. Ability to identify the appropriate medium to source candidates e.g. GEL, Internet Sites, Search and creative methods of sourcing individuals. 4. Flexibility to talk with candidates out of office hours. 5. Ability to manage multiple assignments at various levels. 6. Ability to interview and assess candidates based on core competencies. 7. Confidence to manage candidate’s expectations, availability for interview and reject unsuitable candidates. 8. The ability to manage individuals through an interview process through offer to start date. • To liaise with clients and have the front facing confidence to find recruitment opportunities. Through: 1. Having the confidence and telephone skills to be able to uncover opportunities with potential and existing clients using professional language and asking the “right” questions. 2. Confidence to arrange and (with help) execute meetings successfully with clients. This will be done through prior research of both the company and the type of role. Knowledge of the local labour market and salary ranges across technical positions. 3. The Confidence to challenge clients on elements of their requirements e.g. essential versus desirable, salaries, location, transferable skills. 4. The confidence to act in a consultative manner to suggest routes to market. 5. Providing professional documentation to clients in a timely manner. 6. The ability to manage clients through the interview and offer elements of the process. • To manage their own work load through exploitation of all management systems and organizational tools. e.g. Through: 1. Correct use of internal management system GEL, Office, Outlook 2. Following of company procedure when dealing with both clients and candidates to ensure all documentation is in correct order for payroll. 3. Ability to use and exploit micro soft office to maximise their own ability to organize and prioritize their time. Experience 1. Degree qualified – (desirable) 2. Minimum of 18 months experience in a recruitment environment. With a demonstrable track record of success or A technical Industry background e.g. Engineering, Product Development, Marketing - Food or Aerospace or Automotive or Manufacturing (Per Se) or an HR professional CIPD qualified or attaining the qualification (Essential) 3. Experience of recruiting permanent technical positions – (Desirable) 4. Professional individual of smart experience who is both articulate and confident face to face and on the telephone. – (Essential) 5. Must have a full driving license and own transport – (Essential) 6. Must be target driven – (Essential) Ends. |
