We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Chain Engineer to join our innovative logistics team. In this role, you will drive efficiency and excellence across our supply chain operations by analyzing processes, implementing improvements, and leveraging cutting-edge technology. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination between procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, enabling us to meet customer demands with agility and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making and optimize end-to-end supply chain performance through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role will include:

• Developing and maintaining optimal packaging solutions across the site, balancing cost, product protection, storage, handling efficiency and environmental impact.
• Leading supply chain deliverables for new product launches, including packaging, material flow, logistics concepts, master data, BOM creation and MRP set-up.
• Analysing and improving material flows across goods receiving, stores, line feed, internal transport, sequencing, warehousing and dispatch.
• Supporting logistics cost analysis and identifying opportunities for cost and operational improvements.
• Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, EHS and Customer Logistics.
• Investigating logistics, packaging and material-flow issues using structured problem-solving and data analysis.
• Managing packaging governance and supporting UK/EU environmental and packaging compliance requirements.
• Creating, validating and maintaining master data within SAP.
• Supporting continuous improvement across supply chain and logistics processes.

They are particularly interested in experience within production planning, material control or materials management in an automotive or industrial manufacturing environment, together with exposure to new product launches, packaging implementation, BOM/master data, MRP and logistics/material-flow improvement.
