RSW are seeking a dedicated FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a logistics team in Llangradog. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks, managing warehouse activities, and ensuring the smooth handling of materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your warehouse management skills within a fast-paced environment, supporting shipping and receiving operations while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
• Assist with materials handling, including stacking, organising, and storing stock items
• Support shipping and receiving functions by preparing orders for dispatch and receipt
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or report faults for maintenance
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately
• Assist with stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Support other warehouse activities such as picking, packing, and general housekeeping tasks as required

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence with proven experience in operating forklift trucks in a warehouse setting
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
• Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving processes, and heavy lifting
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Basic maths skills for inventory counting and documentation purposes
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific equipment and procedures
• Ability to work safely around machinery and adhere strictly to health & safety guidelines
