Food Production Operator

RSW are pleased to be continuing to work alongside our long standing Food Production client based in Llantrisant . They are looking for production operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

The role:

• Ensure any ingredients are returned to goods in with full traceability and correct quantity, following the returns process.
• Ensure pouches are taken to the filling lines and placed in the incubators with full traceability.
• Ensure pouches are returned to the warm room from the lines with full traceability and correct quantity, following the returns process.
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately, in a timely manner and ensure strict compliance to traceability
• Deliver training as required to new starters in like roles with strict reference to provided training materials.
• Report any problems that could affect production to the line manager.
• Any other duties as required.
• Strict adherence to Technical and Quality policies, proactively contributing to the business’ food safety and quality culture, whilst continually maintaining high product quality and GMP standards.
• Strict adherence to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and safe operating procedures, whilst promoting a health and safety culture to safeguard all employees.
• Ensure that the production lines are sufficiently supplied with the relevant rice (or other ingredients / materials as required) with full traceability.

The Candidate:

• Must be available for an immediate start
• Be able to work 12 hr shifts on rotation days and nights inclusive of some weekends
• Fit and healthy and able to lift boxes of products
• Driving license preferable due to location

Role Requirements:

• 1 year Manufacturing experience in a similar role.
• Excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Flexibility and willingness to train as required.
• Understanding of EHS and Quality principles within manufacturing.
