Basic Function:

Working on the Mixing Platform, you will have responsibility for ensuring that the Masterfile sheets match the production plan for that day’s production and following the recipe sheets to add powders to meat mixers and to make up gel systems in Hi Shear mixer and to record all traceability log sheets.

• Ability to create gravies and jellies to the required standards

Working as an integral part of our Clients team, you will be developing positive and professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, work colleagues and key internal stakeholders.

General Duties

• Working of Masterfile recipe sheets in conjunction with Production Plan
• Recording all paperwork with accurate time reference for full traceability
• Using touch screen and manual buttons and valves
• Making up gel systems in Hi Shear mixer
• General cleaning as required
• Heating the product to the required specification for each recipe
• Complying with the rules, policies and procedures as set out in the Clients Employee Handbook
• Undertake the appropriate training required to carry out the duties of the post and enhance your own personal development
• Take responsibility for your own health & safety; including wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment whilst at work
• Perform any reasonable request as given by the management team

Health and Safety Duties

• Maintaining H&S and hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
• Ensuring that all staff and visitors in the department wear appropriate PPE at all times.
