Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our Clients warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are maintained.

Duties

• Handle materials efficiently, including loading and unloading stock using appropriate equipment
• Select and pack items accurately according to order specifications, maintaining high standards of quality control
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records promptly
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all goods are correctly documented and stored
• Stock shelves and organise products systematically to optimise space utilisation and accessibility
• Perform mechanical checks on packing equipment and report any faults or issues
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Support load and unload operations, ensuring items are transported safely within the warehouse environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehousing, picking & packing, or related roles is desirable
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and warehouse management systems
• Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of warehouse equipment
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and stock control processes

This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a well-organised warehouse operation. Prior experience in warehouse management or logistics will be considered an advantage.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm approx

£12.71 p/hour
