CAD Engineer (CATIA)

Cwmbran, South Wales

6 Month Contract

Pay Negotiable depending on experience

Are you an experienced CAD Engineer with strong CATIA skills designing:

· Chassis

· Suspension

· Braking

· Steering

· Powertrain – Transmission, Gearboxes, Axles

· Heavy vehicle

· Defence vehicles

· Aerospace structures

Our client, a specialist manufacturer is building a team to support an exciting new programme and is looking to connect with talented CAD Engineers.

Location: Cwmbran, South Wales

Contract: 6 months

Travel: Some UK travel will be required

You’ll be working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, developing high-quality CAD models and supporting the delivery of innovative automotive engineering projects.

· Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA

· Produce engineering documentation to a high standard

· Work closely with design, manufacturing and project teams

· Support engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle

· Ensure designs meet customer and project requirements

Must Have:

· Strong CATIA experience

· Previous experience within the automotive or aerospace sector designing loaded, safety- critical mechanical components with durability and fatigue testing

· Excellent attention to detail

· The ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
